Briefcase

Briefcase is an arpeggiator for Playdate.

If you like electronic instruments, you’re probably familiar with the desire to fill your home an endless number of noise-making gadgets. Whether they bleep and bloop out loud or you’re routing them through a mixer, more instruments means more combinations and more possibilities. These little guys are like our friends. We tend to them, care for them... and they hum along, making their synthetic, often esoteric sounds, just waiting to be tweaked and honed into something wholly unique. Briefcase welcomes your Playdate into your family of synthesizers.

While the Playdate (made by Panic) offers a variety of sound manipulation options, Briefcase is a dedicated arpeggiator. Briefcase isn’t a Swiss Army knife; it’s an instrument focused on doing one job. Add your Playdate into your setup with Briefcase and enjoy a little melodic input, with options at the ready for a little bit of chaos.

• Digital monophonic arpeggiator starting from very high and very low root notes
• Choose from several different upward patterns
• Dial between one to four octaves
• BPM control with note durations from 16th note to whole note
• Digital delay with volume and feedback controls

Is it a game?
